Charlie is a writer, actor, and comedian best known for writing for and playing Coach Novak on four seasons of A.P. Bio. (NBC/Peacock). In Chicago, he studied comedy at Second City, where he toured and understudied, the iO Theater, where he taught and performed with the long-running improv group, The Reckoning, and The Annoyance Theater, where he wrote The Raven & The Messenger, a musical comedy about the early days of cult leader Jim Jones. Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from UIC and taught improv for three years for the Radio, TV and Film Department at Northwestern University.
